The Cult of the Imminent Candle - Birmigham cult exposed

Updated: Aug 19, 2020

"My particular interest lie in a brutal malevolent ritual that is believed to endow great powers such as UN-natural longevity, magical mental prowess, enchanting beauty or charm, and a hedge of protective demons about the witches who preform this dark rite" This is a passage taken from a book from the Homewood Public Library, in Homewood Alabama. The name of the book is "A History of Conjuring" by author Eli Alistair King the Second, King writes, in the few pages that could be salvaged, about the cult and it recalls a person account of investigative journalism accounting the case of a dark brutal ritual involving the kidnapping young children. The following exerts have been extracted from the few pages of the book that were not destroyed by mold and paper rot, great care has been taken to try to preserve these writings.

".......Forty-four years ago,in 1882 on the warm summer night of July the nineteenth a gathering of Birmingham’s darkest devils forged a bloody fraternity, forgive this author lest I offend the opposite sex, a sorority, in fact that would forever have its heels soaked in the blood of children.

I do not suppose in this modern age of science and reason, that an accusation free of accompanying evidence will convince you, my dear reader. Oh contrarily! However I ask you to consider the hanus and shockingly evil depravity of these crimes amalgamated with the knowledge of the perpetrator intelligence and education, and ask yourself “Is it reasonable to presume that such evidence should even survive?

Nonetheless I have facts. Albeit few and far between, these fragments of truth behave for me as columns and pillars to support, to frame the story around, I believe I have the skeleton as it were. As a college educated writer of investigative non fictional literature, I have traveled and learned many things about the supernatural and of evil  cults and the goings ons of their orders in correlation with the fast sweeping “Spiritualist” phenomenon. Even of secret societies comprised of a female only roster.

This next chapter is about:

The Sisterhood of Infinite Creation

By means of a rather less than virtuous acquisition I obtained a letter forged by a Master Occultist by the name of Ruby Lovelace to her beloved sister. Kharmaticly, this ill-gotten gain has forcefully impregnated my imagination with more query than logical answers.

In The letter Lovelace spoke highly of this formidable faction of what she claims was one of the “..darkest coven of witches east of the Mississippi..” She speaks of a secret organization located in the American southern states, that is to say all the way down to the land of Dixie, in Birmingham, Alabama. In the continuation of her correspondence she reveals to her dearest sister that she was actually determined to be ineligible for membership to the coven do to her heritage. It is uncertain to say what the racial requirements might have been as occultist Ruby Lovelace is a white woman. According to her 300 year old historical family record, Lovelace was of direct British decent. 100% Anglo Saxon. The letter spoke of this cult being hidden in plain sight. The letter only whetted my appetite and then left me with no satisfaction. I have uncovered the secrets of every faction I have chosen to research, save for this lot of wicked women. Initially this perplexed me almost unto madness. I had hoped to resolve this matter upon the writing of this book, as I did in a theory, still yet to be disproven by time, concerning the identity of the illicit and condemndable Jack the Ripper.

As I continued to travel and research this order, searching for articles and publications concerning it I came across a single symbol for the group. The Sisterhood of infinite Creation crafted a symbol to represent themselves. A simple symbol, that manifested itself in my dreams that awoke me one night from my already anemic almost non-existent sleep.

(insert photo of symbol here)

The symbol is evidently comprised of an amalgamation of several re-existing powerful esoteric symbols. One of the base symbols is a particularly ancient symbol from early Egyptian scription. The Ankh symbol, often seen it the hands of the gods and goddesses.

The Afrikans say that it is a sacred symbol. Also molded within this sign is the symbol of Venus,(also the Alchemaic symbol of  both exude Feminine and Fertility symbolism and are quite logical considering all of the members are explicitly female. Also merged into this symbol one can identify the scales of Libra they suggest Justice or Judgement and enforce balance.

The chains on the scale of the symbol are in a 36 degree angle resulting in a “Golden Triangle” a triangle this is designed on the Golden Ratio Principal. These women have indeed crafted a symbol saturated in feminine power. I have yet to discover the translation of the rune in the center of the hoop.

My particular interest lie in a brutal malevolent ritual that is believed to endow great powers such as un-natural longevity, magical mental prowess, enchanting beauty or charm, and a hedge of protective demons about the witches who preform this dark rite.

The name of the ritual, as I have collected from less than respectable sources,is called “The Alchemy of Oronotha”. As I have been directed to understand it, it is in fact a human sacrifice ritual involving, nonetheless,children...."

Regrettably this is all the information that could be collected from the book, as it was was in very poor condition.

More coming soon!
